Paige Santschi

Dr. Santschi received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York and her B.A. in Comparative Literature at the City College of New York. Before joining UCSD’s Analytical Writing Program, she lectured in the English departments at Tulane University and Loyola New Orleans. She also taught literature, composition, and French at several public colleges in New York City. Her academic interests are eclectic and usually inspired by the impact of visual depictions on literary ones. She writes fiction under her maiden name and considers teaching the most perfect pairing to writing.
