Debra Ligorsky

Debra Ligorsky received her Ph.D. in English from UC Irvine, her M.A. in Comparative Literature, and her B.A. in English from Emory University. Before joining UCSD’s Analytical Writing Program, she taught at several San Diego community colleges. Her research interests are interdisciplinary, and focus on the Revolutionary period, the American and French Revolutions, and the simultaneous emergence of the democratic citizen with liberal arts education.
